Our doors are unlocked

We were delighted that the government gave us the go ahead to open dental practices from the 8th June.  We’ve been busy getting the practice and ourselves ready with the extra social distancing guidelines we’ve put in place and we have had additional training and been fit tested for our various PPE.  The additional measures have been recommended to all dental practices to aid in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and are for the added protection of you, our team and the wider community.  It will take some getting used to, and obviously the guidelines are subject to change but at the moment the way you see us on your next visit will no doubt be the ‘norm’ for a while.  Before COVID-19, dental practices have had to follow stringent rules and regulations with regards to cross contamination, team training and the running of the practice, as well as being regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission, so visiting a dentist and having dentistry performed have always been exceptionally safe.  The additional steps we have taken in the practice are mostly with regards to social distancing and keeping the interaction between our patients and team members to a minimum, as you have seen in the supermarket recently for example.

We’re currently helping patients who had a dental emergency whilst we were closed.  We are also open to new dental emergencies; if you have one, please call the practice for help.  Once we have provided treatment to those patients with these issues, we will be able to open appointments for ‘routine’ dentistry such as check-ups etc.  Please familiarise yourself with the changes at the practice.  They can be found on our Facebook Page and also on the COVID-19 page of our website HERE

We look forward to welcoming you back to the practice shortly.
